Giving Back to Our Community: Website Design Kingston at Relay For Life

At Website Design Kingston, community has always been an important part of who we are. Beyond designing and building websites, we believe in showing up for local causes and supporting initiatives that make a real difference. One meaningful example of this was our involvement with the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay For Life in Kingston.

As both a team and sponsor, we were proud to take part alongside many other local individuals and organizations who came together to honour survivors, remember loved ones, and support cancer research.

Walking Together for a Cause

During our participation in Relay For Life, our team WDK logged a total of 67.2 kilometres, earning 1st place on the team activity leaderboard. Every lap represented solidarity, support, and commitment to a cause that affects so many people in our community.

Being part of an event like Relay For Life reinforced how powerful collective action can be, even through simple acts like walking together.

Supporting Fundraising Efforts

Fundraising was another key part of the event. We were especially proud to have Tina represent Website Design Kingston as a participant and fundraiser, contributing $601.40 toward the Canadian Cancer Society’s efforts.

The generosity shown by participants and donors alike highlighted the strength and compassion of the Kingston community.

Continuing to Support Our Community

While our involvement in Relay For Life was in the past, our commitment to supporting our community continues today. We remain dedicated to giving back through various initiatives, partnerships, and local involvement whenever possible.

As a Kingston-based web design company, we’re grateful to be part of a community that supports one another, and we’re proud to contribute in ways that extend beyond our day-to-day work.
